This 12-month series of “Beauty Tips-for Print” was designed to showcase the many printing techniques that are offered by this local printing company. Each mailer also acted as a real-life sample of its featured technique that the customer could (and often did!) keep in their files to refer to. For instance, for the sunglasses of the first card we added a foil accent to make them stand out, the lady in the red coat steps through an open frame (die cut), the belt on the next one has a leather texture, the gold circle next to the couple is a scratch-off foil stamp that reveals a special offer, the lips on the portrait features spot UV varnish and really draws attention. These mailers really stood out on many levels-especially in the clear envelopes that they were mailed in!
